Snow Owl (AFB) Custom Colors

Project Description

I created the capability of custom colors within the AFB (Snow Owl) theme in this project. This allows a corporation or a payee to change their site colors to best suit their corporation or the individual personal preference. There are thousands of color combinations and settings to allow the entity to construct their ideal color scheme look. This project contained a lot of CSS, but also included a fun visual display constructed out of jQuery. In addition, I created a training video for the new custom colors located here. What I Learned from this Project

This was a very complex jQuery and CSS project and I learned how to work with these languages well. This project had to do with overriding the original CSS within the system by providing new CSS. This became complicated on the display page. I had to pull in the default colors or CSS and then allow the jQuery display to change them. Then I allowed the colors to be reverted back to their original colors if the custom colors were removed. The jQuery display had to be able to do this while not affecting all the other HTML styles or elements on the settings page.
