Project Description

I originally mapped out this project over a year ago and has just recently (Nov 2017) received funding. Planning, project management, and design were completed by me. The coding of the actual project was done by a developer named Calvin Chipman. The Employee Time Clock app has the ability to change colors so it matches a particular corporation’s colors. It can utilize corporation colors based off preset defaults or custom colors. It’s function is simple; the main purpose is to collect employees clocking in and out quickly and efficiently. It also comes with an admin lock so employees can not get back into the system without admin privileges. Once clocked in, the confirmation page will reroute an employee back to the time clock page, keeping the time clock always open.

What I Learned from this Project

I learned how to work with SVG graphics as well as formatting a page to fit and fill any screen size. Although I have completed similar styling to projects, this one had a different approach to it. Most webpages that I make have content that goes beyond the screen size. This one did not and was designed to have a single, fully filled page without scrollbars, a perfect fit to any screen size.
